After being fully vaccinated, I was FINALLY able to out this fun beachside restaurant, Lucky Fish.  LUCKY for me, it’s a short walk from our beach condo.

Lucky Fish is the sister restaurant to Oceanic.  I found this out when I scheduled our last Girl’s Night Out event at Oceanic.  Lucky Fish is a lovely addition to our fishing village and I know we will be be frequent guests.

Perfectly located for relaxed, beach eats and an amazing view, you are sure to find something delicious on their menu ranging from seafood, to salads and sandwiches.  There were plenty of palm trees swaying in the wind that kept us perfectly shaded.  The laid back vibe was begging for me to have a fruity cocktail in hand.  Next time.  Lucky Fish also offers a breakfast menu and we plan to check that out soon.

My friend, Debbie, and I met at Lucky Fish for lunch, after being away from each other for 14 months, due to the pandemic.

We chose a table with the most perfect view of the ocean.  It can be windy, so I recommend a hair tie or a light jacket in the evenings.

The menus were safely available by scanning the the QR Code located on the table, with your phone camera.  The menu then pops up on your phone to view.  All the wait staff were wearing masks and guests wore their masks, until they were seated.  I felt completely safe with all of Lucky Fish‘s COVI-19 safety protocols.
I ordered the Fishing Village Salad and added shrimp.  This was the first salad I had eaten that someone else had prepared in 14 months, due to the pandemic.  It was amazing and most likely I will order it again the next time I get to eat there.

My friend ordered the Tequila Lime Shrimp Wrap with a side of coleslaw.

For those seeking gluten-free options, they offer corn tortillas.

After finishing our lunch, we opted for a walk on the Fisher Family Pier, which is conveniently located at the exit.  That was the perfect way to walk off our lunch and prepare for a busy afternoon.  The pier offers a bait shop, at the pier entry.  Currently, sightseeing is free and daily fishing rates are $6 with a maximum limit of 3 fishing rods.

I’d love to hear if you’ve tried out Lucky Fish and what you would recommend ordering the next time I go.
