We were all thrilled to check out the new Sushi by BOU Beach Club located on the patio of the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach / Oceanfront for our July’s Girls’ Night Out Event.  We had crazy thunderstorms the day of our event and lucky us – at 4 o’clock the skies opened up and we had the perfect beach weather with a nice cool breeze coming off the ocean.  It was so great to meet so many new faces.

Sushi by BOU Beach Club provided both appetizer and drink specials for our event.  My favorite dish was the Miso Eggplant.  It was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend you try it.

Our charity spotlight was Pompano Beach Elementary School and we did a school supply drive for kids in need.  Once again, this amazing community stepped up and worked together to help out in a big way. Each time this happens it renews my spirit and fills my heart with joy.  We received over 300 pieces of school supplies which will go to kids in need in our community for school this fall.

Another big element to our Girl’s Night Out event was having local women artisans and businesses exhibit their work.

Be sure to keep these local businesses in mind when purchasing gifts.  Shopping local and supporting other women helps make the world go around.

Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach / Oceanfront was our Bag Sponsor for the evening and provided 50 Swag Bags that we filled with swag and handed out to the first 50 women that signed in at the event.  The bags were a nice canvas bag – perfect for carrying to the beach or as a reusable grocery bag.

To kick off the event, we had several social media giveaways on social media before the event.  Three lucky winners scored custom t-shirts from Patrice Rogers with ME+ID.  One lucky winner won a One FREE MONTH of unlimited HIIT Classes at RAVEhiitFitness PLUS a RaveHIIT t-shirt and towel.  Dr. Kim Corson held a raffle at her booth giving away a basket full of goodies.
