I’m sure we can all agree that mom life gets a bit crazy and Covid takes that to another level. It’s so important to fit in self care so we can be the best version of ourselves everyday. Here are a few tips that can help you take care of YOU!! Self care is vital for building resilience towards stressors in life.
Physical self care is so important because there is a strong connection between your mind and body. Make sure you eat healthy (most of the time, get enough sleep, drink your water and exercise when you can. When you take care of your body you will feel better too.
Social self care is one we don’t always fit in between running kids around and being tired we don’t always make time for friends. It’s important to nurture those relationships not just with friends but with family members also.
Let’s talk mental self care for a moment!! The way we talk to ourselves means a ton and we aren’t always the nicest in our head. Be kind and say good things to yourself. Take time to read and do things that make you feel good inside.
Learn to focus on spiritual self care and nurture your soul. Meditate or do whatever makes you aware of you and your body and all the inter connections.
Last but not least talk to people close yo you about how you feel and what you need. We can’t neglect emotional self care and need to have healthy coping skills to deal with how we feel.
