Allison is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Culinary Medicine Specialist and a plant powered chef. She has nearly 20 years experience and additional training in Weight Loss Management. She truly believe that every time we put something in our mouth, we have the opportunity to promote our health. I have worked many years in the hospital and seen first hand what happens when people don’t take their health seriously or just don’t know what to do. By the time I’d see them in the hospital, it was often too late making me feel helpless. It just broke my heart knowing that in many cases if they learned about how to properly fuel their body and exercise, their quality of life would have been so different. That’s when I knew I needed to work with clients before they experienced irreversible health consequences. Since making the switch, I am seeing clients gain confidence, physically keep up with their kids, and lose, 20, 30 and up to 100 pounds of weight by being a part of my virtual wellness plan. I am helping them get their life back and that fuels me!

Now….I am not just pushing kale and cauliflower rice! I believe that food needs have high quality nutrients, but also taste good! For this reason, I advanced my training to become a certified culinary medicine specialist and plant powered chef. Every time we put food in our mouths it is an opportunity to either nourish or harm our bodies. I know that if it doesn’t taste good, clients won’t have it!

We only have one body to live in for the rest of our lives so my job is to empower clients to feel their best. Exercise and body movement not only boosts mood, calms your nerves, but also builds stronger bones. As we age we lose muscle mass each year unless we make the effort to maintain it through exercise. When muscle is lost, fat replaces it. Muscle burns more than fat so when you lose muscle mass, your metabolism slows. This is why you may find a few extra pounds each year. Helping clients find the right workout program for them is key to boost confidence and see results. Let’s face it, we are all getting older. But how you approach the time-clock will make an impact on your life. The small changes (positive or negative) done now will have a compound effect and determine how the rest of your years will be. I want to empower you with the knowledge and encouragement to live your best life. I want you be able to be active and healthy for your kids and grandkids.

​When I first work with a client, I like to get to know them and learn what has worked and not worked in the past. Together, we will choose a program based on their needs and preferences. Then, I will plug them into my online virtual accountability group where they’ll find daily encouragement, motivation, guidance, meal plans and support. I am in the trenches with my group every step of the way.

One thing I hear a lot is “Just tell me what to eat!” I could do that but it would be based on my food preferences and not yours. So I have created a Meal Plan Membership option. This App allows you to have input to your meal plan while staying in line with your nutrition prescription. I will give a suggested meal plan each week and you can either use it as is or swap out some meals. You will be given a choice of meals that are in line with your personal macro recommendation.
